Plastic Miles en el Pazo de Tor (Lugo)

PLASTIC MILES es el título de mi contribución para el proyecto ESTUCHES DE PARADOJAS. Tiene como punto de partida la obra sonora de 1 minuto “Tejido silbado”, que forma parte del proyecto DEDICATORIAS. Es playback para la partitura que interpretarían la trompeta de juguete y el silbato, que son los objetos que guarda el estuche, el cual originalmente albergó una trompeta de una banda de pueblo. Un objeto usado, que arrastra su propia biografía, a la que el autor enreda su propia biografía personal. El título hace referencia al material de los objetos musicales empleados y al gran trompetista Miles Davis.

PLASTIC MILES is the title of my contribution to the project ESTUCHES DE PARADOJAS. It has as starting point the 1 minute sound work “Tejido silbado”, belonging to the project DEDICATORIAS. It is playback for the score that would perform live the toy trumpet and the whistle, which are the objects keeped on the case, which originally housed a trumpet from a town band. A used object, that drags its own biography, to which the author entangles its own personal biography. The title refers to the material of the musical objects used and to the great Miles Davis.

En la inauguración de la muestra en el Pazo de Tor, celebrada el 26-6-18, el autor interpretó en vivo la partitura junto al playback que la acompaña.

At the opening of the exhbition in the Pazo de Tor, held on 26-6-18, the author interpreted live the score with the playback that accompanies it.
